A 27-year-old Afghan man was arrested during the investigation by the FBI. The organization claimed that he was allegedly plotting an attack on election day in the United States. This incident raises serious concerns about ‌domestic security and the influence of ISIS groups. Tewhedi intends to target the largest crowded areas and wants to create fear.

After his arrest, Tawhedi stated he planned to die as a martyr, showing the dangerous mindset of some individuals radicalized by extremist ideologies. His actions included buying AK-47 rifles and liquidating his family’s assets, demonstrating a serious commitment to his plan.

This case highlights the need for vigilance against threats from those inspired by radical beliefs. It also stresses the importance of watching people who may be a danger to public safety, especially during important events like elections, where many people gather.

Due to the upcoming election, the chances of violence in the United States have increased. The arrest of Tawhedi is a fair example of this concern. Christopher Wray, the head of the FBI, said that the US is facing a lot of dangerous threats. He has not seen any cases like this before in his career. Wray said the central focus of the FBI is terrorism and they will do anything and use all power to save ‌American citizens.

While the FBI affidavit does not explain how Tawhedi first came to their attention, it does mention evidence from recent months that shows he was serious about planning an attack. A disturbing detail is a photograph from July showing Tawhedi reading to two young children, including his daughter. The text he read talks about the rewards that martyrs receive, which raises serious concerns about his beliefs. This situation highlights the need to watch individuals with extremist views, as they can threaten public safety.

According to the claims of the officials, Tawhedi ‌worked with the ISIS group. He donated to a charity that acts as a cover to hide the facts about the group. He also talked to someone the FBI had previously looked into for recruiting people into extremism. Furthermore, in July, he saw live feeds from webcams at the White House. The justice department did not reveal the name of Tawhedi’s partner. According to officials, he was an Afghan ‌national and known as the brother of Tawhedi’s wife.

When both of them used social media platforms such as Facebook, the FBI started investigating deeply and built a relationship with them.

Later, the informant invited them to a shooting range. They ordered guns from an FBI agent who pretended to be a business partner of the informant, according to court documents.

Tawhedi was arrested on Monday. ‌It was the time when he received two AK-47 riffles and ammunition he ordered online. Authorities also caught the partner of Tawhedi but did not explore his delta because he is a minor.

In prison, Tawhesi told ‌the investigator about his intentions. He planned to attempt a large attack on election day in the US. This plan by terrorists raises many questions about the safety of people, especially on the US’ big day, election day.

According to the latest information, the criminal was linked to ISIS, which is one of the international terrorist organizations. This charge is serious and could lead to a prison sentence of up to 20 years. On Tuesday, he was sent to court, where a judge ordered him to continue his investigations and stay in custody.

This case shows that domestic terrorism is still a threat and that it’s important to watch people who show signs of extreme behaviour.

In 2021, the criminal entered ‌the US. According to the Justice Department, he had a special immigrant visa and is currently on parole. Furthermore, his immigration case is still open.

This program allows Afghans who put their lives in danger to help Americans ‌move to the US with their families. This includes people who worked as interpreters for the US military and those employed at the American embassy in Kabul.
